Cayman Islands

North Sandbar

Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands has some of the best watersports in the Caribbean, if not the world.

The Kiteboarding (kitesurfing) has ideal conditions for both beginners and expert riders. Warm and clear, flat-water and waves. Cayman has it all. It has become a favorite destination amongst both top-ranked pro riders and first-time students.

Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) has exploded with people exploring the beaches, mangrove forest or surfing the waves. The variety of conditions, and the small island makes it an easy sport to pick up, practice and explore.

In addition, Cayman Islands has one of the best Bioluminescence Bays in the world. This amazing night-time glowing attraction is a “must-see”. It is hard to describe thousands of glowing organisms in the palm of your hands without sounding crazy.

Fortunately the Sweet Spot Cayman takes advantage of all these watersports and we are able to offer tours and lessons all year long.

We have 2 locations on Grand Cayman. One is located on the famous Kaibo Yacht Club on Northside, Grand Cayman. Located on the Little Sound with great access to the Marine Parks, Mangrove Forest, Starfish Point and Bio Bay. It is the perfect place to spend the day paddling, relaxing and eating.

Our other location is perfectly situated on a wide sandy beach on the windward side of Grand Cayman. The area called East End is known for it strong wind and tranquil feel. Plus a barrier reef completely enclosed the east side of the island creating amazing flatwater conditions inside the reef. And breaking waves on the outside. Giving us perfect kiteboarding conditions for all levels of riders. And when the wind is not blowing there is great paddleboarding, kayaking, diving and snorkeling.

We will offer Kiteboarding Lessons, Bioluminescence Tours, Mangrove Tours, Standup Paddleboarding and Wakeboarding. Plus we sell both new and used Cabrinha kiteboarding equipment, Standup Paddleboards, Apparel and Seaspecs sunglasses.
