Bioluminescence Tour
Let the Sweet Spot Cayman take you to one of Cayman’s best kept secrets…. The Bio-luminescent Bay! Nature’s amazing underwater light show.
On the northside of Grand Cayman there is a small protected bay that is one of the best Bioluminescence Bays in the world. Millions of glowing micro-organisms put on an amazing light show in the dark water. Watch your hands, feet and paddle glow magically and naturally.
The Sweet Spot Cayman does trips to the Bio Bay almost every night (conditions allowing) by both Kayak and Boat. Both tours are a very informative 3-stop Eco-tour. Where you will learn about the nature, the island and the stars.
The custom made Bio Boat was specifically designed for this tour, letting you get up close and personal with the Bioluminescence while riding in comfort. Perfect for families and kids. For a little more adventure there is also a Kayak Tour using double kayaks and flashlights.

Transportation to Kaibo –
Kaibo is located on the north side of Grand Cayman, about 45 minutes to 1 hour from 7 Mile Beach. Or 20 minutes from Morritt’s and The Reef Resort. Many people rent a car and enjoy visiting the Northern and Eastern Districts, having dinner or late lunch at Kaibo before the tour.
Taxis and buses are options, but not ideal. As the taxis are pretty expensive from 7-Mile, and bus service is not regular, especially at night. On Thursdays we can organize ground transportation from most hotels to Kaibo for US$30/person (subject to availability)
Water taxis are a good option, and we can help arrange water taxis across the North Sound. Usually best for large groups, as the taxis have a 5 person minimum. For smaller groups, on Tuesdays there are scheduled water taxis from Camana Bay to Kaibo, leaving at 6pm, returning at 9pm. This can be arranged through Kaibo (we can help).
Contact us if you have any questions or need help with transportation.
